Programme Synopsis

The Bachelor of Manufacturing Management (BMMG) programme was co-designed by the university and industry professionals to fill jobs in the manufacturing. The content of the degree programme allows students to improve upon their manufacturing and management experiences while also helping to create new skills for the present and future.

This degree comprises a management core, a technological emphasis, and a job-specific component customised to fit your needs in a manufacturing environment.

Normal Entry

Passed STPM or equivalent with at least grade C (GPA 2.00) in 2 subjects; AND passed Mathematics and English in SPM/SPMV/MCE or equivalent; OR
Passed STAM (jayyid) AND passed Mathematics and English in SPM/SPMV/MCE or equivalent; OR
Passed Diploma (level 4, MQF) / Advanced Diploma (level 5, MQF) or equivalent; OR
Passed Matriculation/Foundation qualification with a minimum CGPA of 2.00 out of 4.00, or any equivalent qualification; OR
Passed UEC with at least grade B in 5 subjects including Mathematics and English; OR Other qualifications recognized by the Malaysian Government.
English Competency for foreign students: A minimum of IELTS (5.5) or equivalent.

Note:
The SPM-level English language credits for candidates (i) and (ii) may be exempted if the qualifications comprise an English subject and the achievement is equivalent/higher than the credit requirements of the subject at SPM level.

(Equivalence of subjects is the responsibility of the HEP and the HEP needs to have firm internal policies/procedures in assessing the equivalency)

APEL Entry (Only for Malaysians)

The candidate should be more than 21 years of age in the year of application; AND
Relevant work experience / prior experiential learning; AND
Pass the APEL Assessment (Aptitude Test & Portfolio) conducted by OUM

* International students are required to pay registration fees of RM1,000 and an additional 20% for the tuition fees.

Discount for the Physically Challenged Learners (OKU) and Senior Citizens

The University offers 50% discount for:

  • Senior citizens aged 60 and above on registration date; and
  • Physically challenged learners – a valid Orang Kelainan Upaya (OKU) is required.

These discounts are for subject fees only and are not applicable for research and other fees. The discounts are also not valid for second time registration and repeating of subjects.

Learners who receive this discount are not entitled to other discounts and promotions.
