Our programmes cover a wide range of disciplines and all are accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
Many of the programmes are also offered by international universities to their students – further proof of the OUM quality.
We know our learners may have their own commitments so at OUM learners choose what and when they want to learn according to their own schedule.
Our fees are cheaper or comparable with other private universities. OUM provides many types of bursaries and discounts for those eligible.
Fees can be paid through the EPF withdrawal scheme or PTPTN.
The virtual learning environment that is managed by the OUM Learning Management System (myINSPIRE) provides learners with learning experience almost similar to a normal classroom. Learners can interact with their peers, tutors and facilitators as well as to access course materials and the digital library. They can also access key information such as academic records, timetable and latest information.
We have learning centres throughout the country, with the exception of Perlis. They are well-equipped with computer labs, tutorial rooms and Internet facilities and Wifi as well as meeting rooms and reading areas. The learning centres have been designed to provide learners with a friendly and conducive learning environment.
OUM is owned by a consortium of the first eleven Malaysian public universities and as such we have access to renowned subject-matter-experts (SMEs) to develop our learning materials, to supervise and where appropriate to serve as tutors and facilitators.
We provide dedicated support services manned by experienced staff who understand learner's needs. Learners can call our helpdesk during normal office hours or use our online support service, the e-CRM. All queries through the e-CRM will be responded to within 48 hours.
Extensive Digital Collection
Our digital library has a collection of close to 100,000 e-books and an extensive collection of academic journals.
At OUM, working adults may leverage on their prior learning experiences to gain admission into a university programme
