Starting from the September 2023 intake, the people of Aceh can choose to pursue our Master of Management, Master of Information Technology, Doctor of Philosophy (Information Technology), or Doctor of Philosophy (Education) through a pilot effort by Universitas Ubudiyah Indonesia (UUI).
This remarkable development comes after UUI signed a memorandum of agreement (MoA) with OUM on 16 June, forging a strategic partnership that will allow UUI to offer our programmes. The MoA is a follow-up to the memorandum of understanding signed on 17 December last year.
The collaboration, managed by OUM’s International Partnership Unit (IPU) and the Centre for Lifelong Learning (CELL), was further strengthened through a study tour in March this year, when a delegation of UUI administrators, academics, and students visited our main campus in Selangor.
The successful offering of the four pilot programmes will pave the way for eight more postgraduate OUM programmes to be offered by UUI. All the programmes will be delivered according to OUM’s academic system, rules and regulations.
This partnership is a promising start for OUM to gain a foothold in the Indonesian education market and a testament to the importance of providing quality education for all, beyond geographic boundaries.
