In the current turbulent business environment, many companies are striving for stability and continuous improvements despite challenging times. Last year, the Group managed to produce significant achievements in terms of financial performance and brand recognition. These include an Excellence in Multimedia Technology Award, a Bronze in the Putra Brand Awards, and a Gold in the Putra Aria Brand Awards. These achievements can be attributed to the hard work, dedication, and commitment of the Group’s staff.
The METEOR Group is a mission-driven entity which strives to achieve certain objectives and competencies. During his speech, Prof Datuk Fauzi announced five key strategic pillars as the core emphasis for the Group – shaping the future, maximising the group’s potential, business sustainability, digital transformation programme, and people & culture.
“To reach lasting success, these pillars cannot be viewed as a mere governing framework, but rather a lifestyle that is driven by the organisation’s leaders”, Prof Datuk Fauzi said.
Forward-looking, he said effective governance, particularly in long-term planning and strategies, must take centre stage to ensure that METEOR’s mission and vision remain aligned with the goals of its stakeholders.
In line with METEOR’s digital transformation journey, the event concluded with Prof Datuk Fauzi launching the METEOR website. He was accompanied by the Heads of Businesses – OUM President and Vice-Chancellor, Prof Dr Ahmad Izanee Awang; CEO of METEOR Learning Sdn Bhd, Assoc Prof Dr Mohd Nazri Mohd Noor; and Head of METEOR Technology & Consultancy Sdn Bhd (EMTECH), Mr Jack Yau.
