A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed with Mindanao State University – Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) from the Philippines.
OUM was represented by Vice President (Academic and Research), Prof Datuk Dr Mohd Tajudin Md Ninggal, while MSU-IIT was represented by its Chancellor, Prof Dr Alizedney M Ditucalan, JD., LLM.
The MoU signing on 13 March has laid the groundwork for future collaboration, particularly in the offering of academic programmes such as the Master of Instructional Design and Technology.
MSU-IIT also expressed interest in OUM training programmes for its academic staff, focusing on online teaching pedagogy, as well as mobility programmes for its students.
The MoU signing is another triumph for OUM in its long-term efforts to offer its academic programmes and capacity-building expertise beyond Malaysia.
