In a significant milestone, the Temerloh Learning Centre held an orientation and registration ceremony on 14 January for students from Madrasah Darul Uloom Al Islamiah Jengka in Pahang.
A total of seven students enrolled in the January intake for the Bachelor of Islamic Studies (Islamic Management) with Honours programme.
The Learning Centre began collaborating with the madrasah in 2019, with 11 students enrolling that year, followed by another 11 in 2020. The enrolment of the 7 students this year marks the successful enrolment of the third batch.
Learning Centre Director Encik Ismady Perdus thanked the head of the madrasah, Ustaz Haji Mohd Khairul Hj Poniran (well-known as Ustaz Ujang), for continuing to send students to OUM. He also expressed his hope that the collaboration would continue in the future.
The students received a special 10% discount due to the institutional collaboration, making it more affordable for them to pursue higher studies.
