Got a story to tell? We want to hear it! Our university magazine is published each month, and we need your voice to make it awesome. Whether you’re a student, alumni, or part of the academic/non-academic staff (HQ & LCs), your contributions matter.
Why should you contribute? Because your words can inspire, inform, educate and entertain.
What can you write about? If you are a student or alumni, you can share your learning experience. Others can talk about academic, non-academic and Learning Centre events, activities and programmes. If you have a cool story, an interesting teaching/learning experience, or just want to spread the word on something, we’re interested!
These are the guidelines:
- Write 300-500 words on a topic related to your experiences, expertise, or insights within the OUM community.
- Use clear and simple language to make your article easy to read.
- Avoid using jargon or technical language that may be difficult for the general readership to understand.
- Include a brief author bio at the end of your article, highlighting your connection to the university and any relevant accomplishments or positions.
- Include 3 to 4 high-resolution headshots & full-size photographs in professional attire (Format: JPEG, Size: minimum 1MB)
So, grab your keyboard, gather your thoughts, and write an article. Your words matter, and we can’t wait to read them.
